JEWELLERY AS PAINTINGS, PAINTINGS AS JEWELLERY, MEDIUM GALLERY, BRATISLAVA, 2012
The exhibition Painting as a jewel, jewelery as a painting was initiated by the curator Matúš Petrek on February 12, 2012, exhibited the collaboration of nine pairs, made up of a painter and jeweler. On the project I worked with Kristýna Španihelová. We dealt with the issue of diamonds and their value. The source of diamonds is not always completely ethical. That's why the pun heart-hurt (heart-pain) was created. Diamonds are donated by love, but their way to the fiancée´s finger can sometimes hurt well. A sketch of the skull as a frequent motif of tattoos, a tattoo as a jewelery of our body we combined in a common installation called DIAMANDS HURT.
